I’d been seeing a chiropractic group for 4 months for PT following a full hip replacement. I started developing a hip pain on the opposite side which was excruciating at times. At the recommendation of my orthopedic doctor I went to Champion Wellness. After ONE visit my pain was reduced by 90 percent! After suffering pain for 4 months I can finally walk without pain free. I’m going to schedule appointments to eliminate the remaining 10 %. My quality of life is so much better now!

I worked with Dex and Andrew on an 18 week program to reduce and eliminate lower back pain caused by bulging and torn discs in my lower 3 vertebrae. I am happy with the success in managing my daily pain levels and the overall reduction in pain as a whole. The doctors are great to work with, aren’t pushy of extras, take the time to explain treatment options, and work with you in a way that you truly are the final decision maker for treatment plans which was very refreshing. The office and admin staff are also great. They are flexible with scheduling and rescheduling if need be. The office is always clean. They also have many patients but are extremely quick to learn names and build an actual relationship with you beyond classic “good mornings.” If you haven’t done anything to address your daily pain, I would recommend these doctors and this office 100% to start working to reduce your pain.

I want to start off by saying before seeing Dex here at Palma Ceia Chiropractic I was very skeptical of the whole chiropractor concept. On my first visit he was so welcoming. He felt my spine and saw how off balanced my hips were then did x-rays, all before actually adjusting me to make sure he knew what technique needed to be done and to make sure I had no internal injuries that needed further MRI views. Results came back that due to years of soccer and an injury making me wear an ankle boot, I had caused myself a slight scoliosis curve and my hips being WAY out of line. I had pinch nerves in my lower back a couple times a day and also had a hard time sleeping, driving, walking, any normal daily activity. He set me up with a 12 week program going 3 times a week with a half way point of x-rays to make sure things are going smoothly . I have now completed that program and am ASTONISHED to the changes in my body. I do not a single pinch never anymore, I can drive for hours and not be in pain, I can work lifting things, and my SLEEP is insanely improved. I never thought there would be a day I could sleep through a night and live without pain and Dex helped me achieve just that. He got my hips nearly perfectly in line and got my spine back to being straight getting rid of the scoliosis. Aside from physically helping me my mental state is better as well. Sleep being such a huge factor to that I now have more energy every day. The office staff as a whole are so welcoming they know every client by name and even get to know you on a personal level and make you feel at home there. I will be continuing to see Dex every month to keep maintenance on the work he has done. For anyone looking to fix back/hip/body pains I would 1000% over and over again recommend this staff and chiropractor to anyone.

I lived with pain for over 20 years. After terrible experiences with multiple medical professionals, I was very tentative to seek help and just "dealt with it." After ONE visit with Dr. Dex and Dr. Andrew, I finally knew what it was like to get out of bed in less than 10 seconds and not feel debilitating pain throughout the day. On my second visit, we reviewed my x-rays and for the FIRST TIME - I was validated, respected and not judged because I was overweight. Three months later, my neck is fully in line for my age and my hips have realigned almost completely to level and the BEST PART - I only have pain if I wait too long in between adjustments! I don't think either of them know the monumental impact they have had on my life. Front office staff is also phenomenal and very attentive and friendly. Dr. Dex Alvarez and staff are true professional healers. I had "tech neck" due to my former occupation as a Product Owner/Project Manager in a software company. Many years of leaning over my computer and laptop lead to a serious condition. I was crawling and in tears coming into my first appointment. Now, I walk tall, feel good and thankfully Dr. Dex has restored my neck & back curvature to within a healthy, tolerable range. Dr. Dex scheduled a plan, explained to me my condition while viewing images of my neck and back (with the math to back up his reasoning). Dr Dex gave me clear expectations on the outcome he expected us to achieve. He performed better than expected. Now I maintain with visits as necessary.
